ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Information Barrister Syed Ali Zafar has said the interim government wants to complete the process of transferring power before 14th August.
Talking to a private news channel, he said a detailed meeting was held with Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan to discuss all legal points regarding formation of a new government.
He said after the ECP issues notification of winning candidates, reserved seats for the women and minorities would be finalized by the parties.
The minister said the maiden session of the newly elected National Assembly will be called in the second week of August.
