Grand Theft Auto VI revolutionizes with Unique Animation System

Due to the Unique Animation System, the Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is equipped with more diverse and lifelike animations compared to the previous release of the GTA series.

A Reddit user on the GTA 6 subreddit, Tobbelobben, recently revealed a patent filed by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company. The patent was discovered through an examination of last year’s leaks, revealing an innovative animation system that features a library of small building blocks for character movements that can be combined in a lot of different ways to create a wide range of animations, which will result in more diverse and life-like animations.

The number of possible variants for the basic animations like walking, as it adapts to various conditions, including different weather.

The best thing about this system which the user highlighted was in use even in the leaked build, is that it extends to non-playable characters (NPCs). This development suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6 has the potential to become one of the most immersive open-world games to date.

According to the early report, the visual advancements in this upcoming installment will surpass the already substantial gap between Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is yet to confirm a launch date, though there are hints it might arrive no later than March 2025.
