Hassanabdal-Havelian, Karachi-Hyderabad motorways to be completed by December

ISLAMABAD: Two new projects, Hasanabdal-Havelian and Karachi-Hyderabad projects, will be completed by December 2017.

While four motorway projects of 670 km have been completed across the country and work is under way on nine other projects.

According to official sources, the completed projects include Faisalabad- Gojra and Khanewal-Multan sections of M-4, Gawadar-Hoshab section of M-8 and Modernization of M-2.

Seven new projects including Thakot-Havelian, D.I.Khan-Hakla, Lahore-Sialkot, Lahore-Abdul Hakim, Gojra-Shorkot, Shorkot-Khanewal and Sukkur-Multan will be completed in 2018.

The total length of the new nine projects will be 1,438 km.

Completion of these projects will link all the major cities and the adjoining remote areas that will help boost development activities across the country.
