The clash erupted between workers of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) and Pakistan People’s Party ahead of local bodies polls in the province.
Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and summoned a report from Sindh Police Inspector General (IG). The incident occurred when supporters of both the parties were holding a rally ahead of the local government polls.
The rally participants entered an argument after exchange of heated words when they reached Rehmani Chowk. This led to use of arms from both the sides.
Rangers reached the crime site to tackle the tension in the neighbourhood.
