The world’s third largest smartphone maker, Huawei has unveiled P10 and P10 Plus handsets with a spectrum of shining colors during a mega technology event, Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona.
The handsets will be available in three different hardware finishes from high gloss to a more textured-look.

In addition to some eye-catching colors, the Chinese mobile maker has partnered with German manufacturers of Leica cameras to include the new Leica Dual Camera 2.0. Slogan for the handsets is “Make Every Shot A Cover Shot”.
The new Leica Dual Camera 2.0 uses precise 3D facial detection, dynamic illumination, and natural portrait enhancements to produce stunning artistic portrait shots in Leica image style.
“HUAWEI P10’s imaging algorithm helps create artistic portraits in Leica image style for natural, studio-like enhancements. Eyes receive special attention with optical technology that brings out innate brightness and colour,” says an official release.
“As lighting changes, HUAWEI P10’s light-sensing algorithm automatically adjusts photo configurations—including AWB, shutter speed and more. Dynamic illumination readjusts the lighting to add artistic glow to your portrait shots,” it adds.
P10 and P10 Plus have dual lenses on the rear, a 20MP monochrome and 12MP RGB lens, to support photo-processing features improve the smoothness, clarity and simplicity of portrait photography.
With launch of these handsets, Huawei has become world’s first smartphone with a Leica front camera which captures 2x more light, offering amazing self portraits, whether day or night. HUAWEI P10 even senses presence of more people before camera and automatically switches to wide-angle shots when more people enter the picture.
Both devices are waterproof and have fast-charging technology.

In Europe the price of P10 starts at €649, while the P10 Plus starts at €699.
