IDEAS 2014 kicks off in Karachi today

The military exhibition will continue for four days in which defence systems will be exhibited.
Al-Khalid tank, JF-17 Thunder fighter jet, armored vehicles and missile ships will be highlighted in IDEAS 2014 today.
Director General of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Air Commodore Mansoor Hussain Khan has said that the construction of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) will soon be completed.
He also said that Russia will participate in the military exhibition for the first time. It should be noted that Pakistan is expected to make several defence agreements with Russia.
High level meetings are expected between foreign delegates and government officials on the sidelines of the military exhibition.
