Farooq Sattar reminds me of my own son, says Imran Farooq's mother

KARACHI: Slain senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq’s mother Friday said that if her son were alive, he would have attended the MQM Pakistan faction’s public rally, ARY News reported.
Exclusively talking to ARY News during MQM-Pakistan’s Nishter Park rally, the mother of one of the founding members of MQM said MQM-P chief Farooq Sattar reminds her of her own son Imran Farooq.
“Farooq Sattar reminds me of my own son. I intuit as if he is present somewhere here in the rally (sitting with these leaders). Farooq Sattar’s speech, style and some of his habits resemble with Imran Farooq,” she said.

Imran Farooq’s mother said Farooq Satter revered her and used to visit her every of Eid.
On September 16, 2010, Dr Imran Farooq, was stabbed to death in broad daylight near his residence in London where he, like then MQM chief Altaf Hussain, had taken political asylum.
It is pertinent to note here that MQM-London faction is being operated from British capital while another MQM faction, MQM-Pakistan is currently working under Farooq Sattar.
The Farooq Sattar faction comprises mostly of party’s legislators. This faction gradually dissociated itself from London after MQM chief’s controversial August 22 speech.
