MULTAN: Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday said that he always told his aides that former CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry was a political judge and they should not pay heed to his advice or worry about his actions, ARY News reported.

“The judge whose video went viral on social media was a political judge and I will ask him to have some shame,” Zardari said while addressing a press conference.

Though he did not name Chaudhry but it was former CJP whose video went viral on social media.

The former president added that the judge wanted to become president and he (Chaudhry) himself proved him right by establishing a political party.

Former chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhary and his son, Arsalan Iftikhar, faced an awkward situation at Jeddah airport when the duo violated the queue, only to be strongly resisted by one of the passengers.

However, the ex-CJ’s son responded that he was told that business class passengers should come at the front of the queue. But the other man was too angry to be convinced.

“…don’t push in the queue…we all have been waiting…you have to go back,” the man told Arsalan Iftikhar couple of times.

At last, Arsalan walks away, preventing the bickering from getting worse.

“We will take Punjab from them and will show them how to run the province, whole Punjab is ours and the people of the province will support us” said Zardari.

Answering a question about former minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi’s acquittal in the Haj corruption case, Zardari maintained that “God vindicated him”.
