ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday announced to launch country-wide election campaign 2018 from Mianwali on Sunday, ARY News reported.

“In sha Allah! I will launch election campaign 2018 on Sunday evening from Mianwali hockey stadium,” he said in a video statement.

Revealing the purpose behind launching his election campaign from Mianwali, the former Pakistan captain said the residents of Mianwali elected him on the National Assembly seat in 2002. “If the residents of Mianwali would not have supported me in 2002, I might not have been doing politics today.”

Imran said, by God’s grace, through the efforts of youth of Mianwali, the PTI had become the biggest party of Pakistan today.

“Now I am launching the election campaign from Mianwali which will subsequently lead to establishment of PTI’s government,” he said.

The PTI chief vowed to make Pakistan the country that was dreamt by Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam and Dreamer of Pakistan Allama Muhammed Iqbal.
