ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has prayed for swift recovery of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kulsoom Nawaz who is being treated in an intensive care unit of a London hospital after she suffered a cardiac arrest.
In a tweet, the PTI chief said: “All our prayers are with Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. May Allah grant her Shifa e Kamila.”

A day earlier, the former premier’s daughter Maryam Nawaz requested prayers for her mother as she was put on life-support machines after her health deteriorated.
Kulsoom is being treated for throat cancer and has undergone a surgery besides multiple therapies and treatment.
Sharif along with his daughter arrived in London on Thursday to see his ailing wife.
