After a troubled year famed Indian comedian Kapil Sharma is determined to make a comeback by returning back to the small screen and release his next film.
His maiden Punjabi production ‘Son of Manjeet Singh’ will release next month he has recently confirmed his return to television with his once popular ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’
However, the actor-comedian will also be tying the knot with fiancée Ginni Chatrath in December, reported the Mumbai Mirror.
A friend of Kapil revealed that the wedding will be in his hometown Amritsar and preparations have already begun and a reception will be held later in Mumbai.
“It will be a four-day long, big, fat Punjabi wedding for which his friends from the film industry will be flying down to Punjab. He will be hosting a party in Mumbai later,” the friend added.
In March last year, Kapil had announced his relationship with Ginni. He had posted, “Will not say she is my better half. She completes me. Love u Ginni, please welcome her. I love her so much.”
Kapil is ready to return to TV with a comedy show. The actor confirmed the news on Saturday tweeting “Jalad wapas aa raha hoon ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ lekar aap ke liye sirf”
Earlier in March, the actor’s game show ‘Family Time with Kapil Sharma’ was not well received and ended after just three episodes.
The popular ‘Kapil Sharma Show’ too come to an abrupt halt in August 2017 after a brawl with co-actor Sunil Grover lead to him a few others walking out of the show.
Their exit hit Kapil badly, and he left a string of Bollywood actors from Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn to Emraan Hashmi and Shraddha Kapoor waiting on the sets and sometimes even not turning up.
Kapil was admitted from a holistic healthcare centre in Bangalore after battling various health issues including alcoholism. A picture of him looking unhealthy went viral recently but the actor claimed it was digitally edited and he is in good shape now.
He has also cleared the air about his brawl with Sunil Grover and referred to him as his brother. He admitted to be dealing with anxiety, blood pressure, sugar problems and an unbalanced diet.
