Industries in Sindh to face three days gas suspension

According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), three gas fields have been closed for annual maintenance. It added that due to the ongoing annual turnaround (ATA) of three gas fields in Sindh, SSGC is not receiving gas supply into its system that has caused a major supply shortfall.

Chairman of North Karachi Industrial Association, Mahmood Rangoonwala said that 60 per cent factories and mills have been closed due to the load shedding of gas. He said three days consecutive suspension of gas will halt the business activities as processing industries already struggling to survive due to weekly load shedding of gas.
