According to a press release by Foreign Office (FO), Sartaj Aziz congratulated Mehdi Honardoost on his appointment as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan. He hoped that the Ambassador’s tenure in Pakistan would be successful and fulfilling, both in professional and personal terms.
“The Ambassador stated that he looked forward to making positive contributions to Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations, particularly enhancing economic cooperation and promoting trade”, the release read.
He also conveyed the greetings of Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to the Adviser.
