The meeting took place at the General Head Quarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
The top commanders discussed affairs relating to the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-azb and the overall security situation of the region.
General Campbell also exchanged his views with the COAS, General Raheel on affairs relating to the Pak-Afghan border security and to strengthen cooperation between the two neighborly states.
On this occasion, General Sharif briefed the ISAF Commander about the advances in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and the situation of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the north western tribal areas of Pakistan.
