Judicial Commission calls details of extra ballots from 12 constituencies

The inquiry commission called details of additional ballot papers in 12 national constituencies.

Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk observed in the proceedings of the Commission today that no more witnesses can be called after those summoned earlier by the inquiry commission. Justice Nasirul Mulk said that he was not satisfied with the new petition of PTI. “On the request of PTI we called Form 15 from all parts of the country, called the witnesses which were needed. Now the matter has come to an end. But if required more witnesses can be summoned,” the CJP said.

PTI lawyer Abdul Hafeez Pirzada in his arguments said that Form 15 were not received from scores of polling stations across the country. He said that in election additional ballot papers sent in some constituencies. Continuing his argument the veteran lawyer said that around 11 million extra ballot papers were printed. It is upto the inquiry commission to decide whether the sanctity of ballot paper observed or not, he said.

Chief Justice observed that Form 15 not helped the commission anyway as a large number of forms were missing.
