Judicial Commission meets to probe rigging claims

Three judges’ inquiry commission headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk will look into the evidence submitted by various political parties.

The commission in its hearing on April 23, directed the political parties to submit the names of alleged conspirators by April 25, who had orchestrated and implemented the cheating plan.

In response to the commission’s order Pakistan People’s Party had submitted documents, while MQM, ANP and BNP-Mengal had filed their replies.

PML-Q and BNP-Awami had submitted the lists of the witnesses and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had also submitted documents to back their claims about rigging.

Ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in reply to a notice of the Judicial Commission said that PTI screaming about alleged rigging for last two years but the party has failed to submit any substantial evidence to back its claims.
