KARACHI: A senior police officer is under fire for allegedly harassing a family on a thoroughfare of Karachi, ARY News reported.
In a video a squad of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Additional Inspector General (AIG) Kamran Fazal can be seen blocking a vehicle on Sunset Boulevard road, the Defence Housing Authority.
A police officer asked the family members to come out of their vehicle as the CTD AIG wanted to talk to them. While, the family which reportedly included senior citizen/s refused to leave their vehicle for they believed they had committed no crime and if the senior police officer wanted to talk to them he should himself come out of his Vigo car.

When asked about his unprofessional behaviour, Kamran Fazal blamed the citizens for driving recklessly. Upon which, he was asked how come he could set up a court on a road like this along with his armed guards, which ostensibly was tantamount to harassing armless and non-violent citizens.
Fazal said members of his squad were very politely talking to them. He said being on a sensitive duty he had several threats and his guards had asked him not to leave the vehicle.
