Karachi press which printed IS pamphlet found at bus site also printed one found after attack on Debra Lobo

ARY News reported on Saturday that the security agencies have made progress in the investigations and spotted a printing press in Pakistan Chowk area of Karachi, which had printed the leaflet.

The law enforcement agencies personnel conducted raid at the printing press and arrested four persons. The arrested men have been transferred to an undisclosed place for interrogation.

A leaflet found from the crime scene after an attack on Debra Lobo, an American national teacher of a Karachi college, was also printed at the same press, sources said.

In May 13 attack on a bus of Ismaili community of Karachi 47 people were killed.

According to eyewitness accounts six gunmen stopped a bus carrying the members of Ismaili community and  sprayed it with bullets from both sides.

The investigators found pamphlets of the Islamic State (IS) militant group — Daesh in Arabic — at the crime scene.

Eyewitness account

Police had yesterday recorded the statement of the Cleaner of the unfortunate bus who survived in the attack.

“The terrorists ordered the passengers of the bus to bow down and than the bus became a slaughter house,” the witness said in his statement. “I glued with the floor of the bus when they opened fire,” he said.

“Seeing the killers murdering the men passengers the women and children pleaded to the killers for mercy and said “Don’t kill them” but they didn’t heed the pleas,” the survivor said in his statement to the police.

They completed their terror act within five to seven minutes and made their escape from the scene, the eyewitness added.
