Karachi: CCTV video shows man troubling woman in Korangi

KARACHI, August 21, 2026: A CCTV video of a man on a motorcycle harassing a woman in Karachi’s Korangi area has surfaced on social media, ARY News reported.
According to reports, the incident took place in Korangi Al-Falah Society Block C. In the footage, the motorcyclist is seen spotting a woman walking alone in a street, turning his bike back, approaching her and harassing her before fleeing the scene.
The motorcyclist’s face is clearly visible in the CCTV footage.
Local residents said the incident occurred at 7:00 am on August 18. They added that police have been informed about the incident and photographs of the suspect have also been provided to authorities.
This is not the first such case reported from Korangi this year. In May, another video went viral on social media showing a man harassing a woman in Korangi and then escaping.
Following that viral video, DIG East Zone took notice on the instructions of SSP Korangi and formed an immediate team to arrest the suspect. Police of Awami Colony station acted on secret information and arrested the accused within 12 hours.
Police officials said investigation into the latest August 18 incident is underway and efforts are being made to identify and arrest the suspect seen in the latest footage.
