Karachi Kings joins hands with PTV Sports as its official channel

KARACHI: The most expensive and popular cricket team of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Karachi Kings and Pakistan’s state television’s sports channel PTV Sports signed a media partnership agreement in Karachi on Saturday, ARY News reported.
As a part of this collaboration, PTV Sports will serve as official channel of Karachi Kings and will promote the team’s activities, players and events on its channel in the upcoming PSL season.
Karachi Kings also put forward the commitment that the channel will be promoted in all its activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nauman Niaz, Head of PTV Sports said “We are entering into this coordination not for commercial purposes but to enhance the soft image of Pakistan. We share the passion of cricket with the Karachi Kings management and will be more than willing to play our part in bringing the international cricket back to the grounds of Pakistan”.
“We at PTV Sports are excited to have joined hands with Karachi Kings in supporting this great game of cricket,” added Dr Niaz.
The Chief Executive Officer of Karachi Kings, Mr Tariq Wasi said, “As you know, time and again we have reiterated our commitment to cricket as not only a sport but one of our efforts to build a better image of Pakistan”.
“With common goals we believe that partnering with PTV Sports as our official channel, reinforces our commitment to be hand in hand with the government of Pakistan to promote cricket and the positive image of Pakistan,” added Mr Wasi.
Both Karachi Kings and PTV Sports aim to create joint promotions, programing and other activities to promote the game of cricket and excite the youth of Pakistan towards this positive activity.

Official Apparel Line Launched
Karachi Kings also became the first PSL team to launch its official apparel line with the leading fashion brand Cotton & Cotton today in a ceremony at Dolmen Mall Clifton.
The event was attended by celebrities and fans, who got their first look at the designs available for the entire family.
The product range includes shirts, t-shirts, polo shirts, ladies kurtis, jackets, sports, uppers, caps, customized wallets, belts, ties and a lot more.
Cotton & Cotton will also be releasing Karachi Kings replica team t-shirts and more variety of formal and casual apparel for Karachi Kings very soon.
In his message for the launch, President and CEO of ARY Digital Network, Mr Salman Iqbal said, “We are confident that through this collaboration, the fans of the team will not only have easy access to exclusive Karachi Kings apparel, but they will also have the peace of mind that there will be no compromise on quality”.
“We urge our fans to only buy the original merchandise and help us develop this new industry of sports merchandise in Pakistan, which is another new trend by us,” reads Mr Salman Iqbal’s message.
Speaking at the occasion, the CEO of Cotton & Cotton, Mr Alam Najiullah said” It is an honor to be part of the Karachi Kings efforts to create the first ever clothing line of a major cricket league. Never before has fashion and sports joined hands in such a unified manner in Pakistan”.
