KARACHI: Police arrested nine suspects during overnight raids on Friday in Karachi and Hyderabad, ARY News reported.
In two separate raids in Karachi’s Lyari and Ferozabad areas, police arrested four miscreants.
According to police account, three robbers were mugging citizens in Ferozabad police area when two of them were taken into custody after a brief span of gun battle. However, another robber managed to flee from the scene, police sources said.
Separately, police arrested two gangsters from Lyari’s Singoo Lane. Narcotics and liquor have been recovered from their possession, police said.
No details were shared with regard to identification of the arrested suspects.

According to police sources, the men were wanted in different criminal cases. The officials also recovered weapons from their possession.
