KARACHI: Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday announced the launch of another route of the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi, ARY News reported.
The 20-kilometer route starts from Shireen Jinnah colony, Boat Basin, Mai Kolachi, Native Jetty, Mauripur Road and ends at Meera Naka Lyari.
“New route of Peoples Bus Service has been started from today. Its starts from Shireen Jinnah colony, Boat basin, Mai Kolachi, native Jetty, Mauripur Road and ends at Lyari,” he said.

Earlier in August, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the transport department to repair all routes of the Peoples Bus Service so that it could operate smoothly and properly.

CM Murad approved Rs1.5 billion for the repair of all seven routes of the People’s Bus Service and directed the transport department to coordinate with the local government department.
“I want both departments to complete the work within 40 days,” he had said.
