Bollywood diva Karisma Kapoor’s two children have moved the Delhi High Court over the INR30,000 crores estate of their late father and her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur.
As reported by the Indian media, Samaira, 20, and Kiaan, 14, the two kids that Sunjay Kapur shared from his second marriage to actor Karisma Kapoor, have filed a civil lawsuit in the Delhi HC, accusing their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, of forging the late industrialist’s will to gain control of his assets, estimated at around INR30,000 crores.

According to the details, the celebrity kids, represented by their mother as the legal guardian, stated in the complaint that Sachdev, who was married to their father, from 2017 until his death in June, initially claimed that he did not leave behind any will and all his assets were held under the R.K. Family Trust, before producing a fabricated document.
While they attached a list of their father’s known properties, the plaintiffs noted that they lack complete details of the assets as their stepmother had concealed the related information, limiting their access to trust documents and financial assets.
Moreover, the celebrity kids also alleged that they have been summoned to corporate meetings after his death and were forced to sign paperwork without complete clarity on the related records.
The suit seeks partition of the estate, rendition of accounts, and a permanent injunction against the defendants, including Sachdev, her minor son, and Kapur’s mother.
Notably, Kapur, who was married to Kapoor for 11 years, died in Windsor, UK, earlier this year.
