Keanu Reeves breaks silence on secret marriage to Alexandra Grant

Hollywood star Keanu Reeves has finally revealed the reality of the rumours that he has tied the knot with his longtime partner, Alexandra Grant, in a secret ceremony.

For the first time since the rumours began to swirl last month, Keanu Reeves, 61, on Monday, broke the silence on the buzz of his secret marriage to author and visual artist Alexandra Grant, 52, whom he has been dating for nearly seven years, at this point, and made their relationship public in 2019.

Speaking at the NYC premiere of his forthcoming movie ‘Good Fortune’, Reeves told a foreign publication about the speculations, “Well, that wasn’t the first time. We’ve been going out for a long time.”

“The wedding, it’s a nice thing, people did a lot of nice messages and stuff,” he furthered. “But Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’”

For the unversed, the ‘John Wick’ star, who also collaborated with his ladylove on two books, referenced Grant’s September 24 Instagram post, when she posted a PDA-packed picture of the couple and clarified in the caption, “This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss!”

“I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn’t get married,” she explained further. “Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here’s a bit of real happiness!”
