According to the Police, Zahid Khan took his own life after returning home from campaigning for the polls.
Initial post-mortem report has stated the cause of his death was the bullet wound to his head.
The case has been filed in Abbottabad Cantt Police Station.
Zahid Khan was contesting the LB Elections for Tehsil Council from Salhad Union Council of Abbottabad.
