KARACHI: A joint action of Police and Rangers in Karachi killed a terrorist of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
According to details, law enforcement agencies conducted a raid in Musharraf colony, Karachi. During the operation a Ranger personnel got injured while a militant was gunned down, who later identified as Mairaj uddin. Two of his companions managed to escape in injured condition.
Mairaj uddin belonged to Wali ur Rehman group of TTP allegedly involved in attack on FC in Waziristan and extortion activities in Karachi, police revealed.
Police also recovered grenade and arms from the custody of assailant.
