Longer operation in N Waziristan will be harmful, says Siraj

Talking to media in Bannu, JI leader said that the problem of the displaced persons of North Waziristan has been crucial and called the prime minister and the army chief to resolve the issues of the IDPs on priority.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamat Islami and Al-Khidmat Foundation have distributed Rs. 60 million relief goods among the displaced persons.
Replying a question Sirajul Haq, who has been senior minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, said that the province had urged for transfer of Dr. Shakeel Afridi from Peshawar jail but the centre rejected the plea.
Talking on the Israeli aggression in Gaza JI leader said that his party will observe a protest week to condemn the attack on Gaza.
He said that all Muslim countries should take steps to halt Israeli bombardment in Gaza.
