KARACHI: A criminal of Lyari gang war was killed during police encounter on Saturday night, ARY News reported.
According to police, the encounter took place near Sindh Madrasstul Islam, I.I. Chundrigar Road when the culprit was passing through the neighborhood. The deceased was identified as Amjad Lashari.
Police recovered weapons and two crackers from his possession. They confirmed that the criminal belonged to Lyari gang war. He was wanted to different police stations in over 40 different cases of crime.
Meanwhile, a man was shot dead in Manghopir area. The identity of the deceased could be ascertained. He was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Separately, at least three criminals were arrested after police encounter in Baloch Colony. Police recovered looted valuables and weapons from their custody.
