Asma said that her husband with the help of house workers shaved her hair and set it on fire. She also said she was beaten routinely by her husband whom she had married four years ago.
“Somehow I managed to escape from the house the next day to the police station”, Asma said and added she was asked for money and not even given a registration slip against the complaint she filed at the police station.
She was also refused medical treatment as the police kept asking her for money.
Asma has appealed to the public to help her out as she had no one to look out for her. Both of her parents are dead, she added.
