Man City v Spurs: All eyes on Haaland ahead of EPL showdown

All eyes will be on Erling Haaland when Manchester City will lock horn against Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola’s side will welcome a new-look Spurs at the Etihad Stadium in an exciting second Premier League clash of the new season where both sides started off with a victory.

Manchester City have started strong and look to continue their winning ways up against the London club side. They beat Wolves 4-0 in their opening clash of the 2025/26 season.

On the other hand, Tottenham finished 17th last season just one place above the relegation zone. Despite the odds, Spurs not only managed to avoid relegation, but also secured a Champion League spot after lifting the Europa League against Manchester United.

For Spurs, Dominic Solanke battled an ankle injury in preseason, but returned off the bench in the UEFA Super Cup. However, Richarlison’s impressive start to 2025–26 means the Englishman will likely be limited to a cameo again this weekend.
