The incident occurred in Multan’s Sedan Wali Khoi area attacked 20-year-old N* when her family refused to accept proposal for marriage from the boy.
The boy entered the girl’s house late night and splashed acid on her face when she was asleep. She was moved to hospital. Doctors at the hospital said the girl suffered 25 % burns and her condition was out of danger.
The accused was identified as Abdul Jabbar.
Police have registered a case against in Gilghist Police Station and arrested the accused.
