The non-arrest of a person, who has been declared an absconder by several courts, has raised a question mark on the writ of law in state.
Mir Shakil has long been absent from the hearings of cases against him, despite repeated court orders.
The PHC bench on Tuesday resumed the hearing of a blasphemy case and expressed displeasure over the non-arrest of the Jang/Geo owner.
The court once again ordered the police to arrest and produce Shakil and other accused before it, in next hearing.
Earlier, the court also declared Mir Shakil and others proclaimed offenders over their continuous absence from the hearings.
According to reports, Mir Shakil ur Rehman is currently present in Islamabad, yet his non-arrest despite court orders has raised a question mark on the performance of police.
