Mistakes in 'Sanju' that viewers possibly didn’t notice!

Dubbed ‘masterpiece’, a moving biopic and a ‘must watch’ by acclaimed Indian movie critics, Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ has become a blockbuster in no time and impressed the audience to bits, but do you know the movie has some mistakes that even perfectionist like Raj Kumar Hirani couldn’t even spot?

The film minted whopping Rs 34.75 crore on its first day itself. Including the biggest opener and biggest opening weekend, the film has broken 8 records on the box-office and is already a blockbuster, leaving behind all the three Khans.

According to India Today, the film, which released on June 29, has already made it past the Rs 300-crore mark in India and Rs 500-crore mark worldwide.

The movie is generally considered as flawless, but contrary to this widespread notion, the superhit movie still has some flaws and we take you along to look at them.

Here are the five mistakes in Sanju, you’d not possibly have spotted.

1- Boman Irani appears twice in two different roles

Boman Irani is seen playing the character of Sonam’s father in the movie; and he played it fatntastically. However, in the second half of the film, he is seen as Dr. Asthana too. This could have easily been avoided if the makers paid an attention.

 

2- How it could be morning at the same time in New York and India?

In a scene, Anushka telephones Sanju’s friend Kamlesh in the morning (as the background shows) and when Kamlesh picks ups the phone, the scene shows it’s also morning in New York. How it that possible?

There is at least nine hours of time difference in both the countries.  And interestingly, Kamlesh is seen watching the Indian court verdict against Sanju the same time when it is being aired in India in the morning. A glaring error, we must say!

 

3- The ‘weird’ change of camera angles

In a scene when gangster fires at Ranbir, a piece of white cloth was on his knee but in the next scene, the location of the cloth changes and it’s seen below the actor’s knee.

 

4- When injury switches side with the camera

In the hospital scene, injury marks are on the left side of Ranbir’s forehead; however, in the next scene when he is traveling, the marks shift on the forehead’s right side.

5- The curious case of missing cigarette  

In the bathroom scene, there is a cigarette in Ranbir’s mouth and its smoke can also be seen but when he garlands Sonam with the commode, we don’t get to see any trace of cigarette.
