The Australian quick made the statement during an interview to a media website.
The pacer said that the Pakistani fast bowler was a trend setter for all left arm pace bowlers and was a genius in all kinds of swing bowling.
“Akram was an absolute genius at bowling conventional swing, reverse swing, and bowling fast. He set the standards for left-arm fast bowling,” Starc said.
The Australian cricketer went on to say that the former Pakistani bowler is great to discuss left-arm fast bowling.
Starc added that he had the chance to work with the ex-Pakistani pacer a couple of occasions and it was fantastic to talk with him.
