MQM invites Sheikh Rasheed for July 6 rally in favor of military

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has invited Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief, Sheikh Rasheed to participate in the July 6 public rally to express solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan, while on the other hand a meeting of party officials was chaired by Nadeem Nusrat in London to review the arrangements of the rally – ARY News reports.

According to details, a three member delegation of MQM headed by Babar Ghouri met the AML Chief, Sheikh Rasheed on Monday and invited him to attend MQM-called public meeting on July 6, to express solidarity with Pakistani military, which is currently at war with militants in North Waziristan.

Arrangements are continued in full swing by MQM and a meeting of party officials was also held in London in this regard, which was chaired by deputy convener of MQM coordination committee London, Nadeem Nusrat.

The meeting reviewed the preparations of the rally and formed committees to coordinate with different organizational departments for making all the arrangements done timely.

MQM leader, Engineer Nasir Jamal also visited Jinnah Park along with members of the coordination committee.

On this occasion, Jamal urged the entire nation to stand by the armed forces of Pakistan and express solidarity with the officials and troops, who are sacrificing their today for a better tomorrow of the nation.
