Musharraf's mother reaches Karachi

Begum Zareen Musharraf had departed from Dubai after getting recovered from her illness. She fell extremely ill a few months ago, due to which the mother of former President of Pakistan was admitted at a hospital in Dubai.

However, upon her recovery Begum Zareen Musharraf reached Karachi to meet his son General (R) Pervez Musharraf.

Sources told that Mrs Zareen Musharraf is expected to stay in Pakistan permanently. General (R) Musharraf’s wife, Begum Sehba Musharraf and his daughter, Alia also reached Karachi together with his mother.

Here it should also be noted that the former President had repeatedly pleaded the courts to grant him permission to go abroad in order to visit his ailing mother, but his name was not lifted from the exit control list (ECL).
