My well wishes are with Afridi, says Hafeez

Speaking in ARY News’ program ‘Sports Room’, Hafeez praised performance of the players and expressed hope that team will keep performing well.

“I am satisfied with the bowling and batting department but we need to work out on our fielding”, he added.

Talking about PCB’s decision of naming Shahid Afridi as the captain of Twenty20, he said PCB has taken a good decision his well wishes are with Afridi.

Hafeez vowed to perform with best of his abilities against Kolkata Knight Riders. He said Indian crowd has supported whole heartedly during the qualifying round.

Lahore Lions, who has finished second in the qualifying group, are in Group A of the Champions League, along with Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Dolphins and Perth Scorchers. Lions’ first game is against Knight Riders on September 21 in Hyderabad.
