ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Sunday approved Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s plea to meet his brother and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif.
According to a statement released from the NAB office, the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif was scheduled on Monday at NAB Lahore office.
It would be the second meeting between the two brothers since Shehbaz Sharif was taken into custody by the anti-corruption watchdog.
An accountability court had granted NAB 14-day remand of Shehbaz Sharif in Ashiyana Housing scam.
Earlier today, Shehbaz Sharif was brought to a private hospital in Islamabad where doctors took his three CT scan. Sources said that a medical board will review reports of his CT scans after which he will be flown back to Lahore tomorrow.

Earlier today, Shehbaz Sharif, underwent computed tomography (CT) scan at a private hospital in Islamabad.
According to sources, the medical board constituted on order of the court had suggested CT scans of former chief minister Punjab. The board will analyse report of the CT scans after which he would be flown to Lahore tomorrow (Monday).
ARY News, citing its sources, on Nov 23 reported that the medical report of Shehbaz Sharif had showed signs of a ‘blood cancer’.
