KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday filed a fourth reference against former Karachi Development Authority (KDA) director Nasir Abbas and others with an accountability court in a case pertaining to illegal allotment of 14 plots in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area, ARY News reported.
According to the NAB reference, a probe against former Sindh minister Jam Khan Shoro and government official Muhammad Ramzan Awan is ongoing and a supplementary reference would be filed against them once the investigation completes.
The administrative judge of the accountability courts in Karachi accepted the reference for hearing.
Others accused named in the reference are additional director (admin) Khalid Zafar Hashmi, director recovery Fazal Bukhari, Iftikhar Hussain, Irfan Khan Yousufzai, Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, and Syed Farzand Ali.

According to NAB, illegal allotment of plots cost the national exchequer Rs180 million. Former KDA director Nasir Abbas has been arrested in the case.
Three different inquiries were being carried out against the former Sindh local government minister, one of them pertained to illegal allotment of 62 government plots in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
