Namor destroys Wakanda to fulfil his political agenda in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever“. Shuri (Letitia Wright) spared Namor’s life after he killed Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) because they wanted to protect their people.

It is assumed that the character will return in future Marvel web shows and movies because of the film’s ending. Marvel Studios and Universal Pictures had struck a deal where they agreed that Namor will only appear for marketing reasons.

Nate Moore has had to make big changes regarding Namor’s character arc.

“It honestly affects us more, and not to talk too much out of school, but in how we market the film than it does how we use him in the film,” he said.

“There weren’t really things we couldn’t do from a character perspective for him, which is good because clearly, we took a ton of inspiration from the source material, but we also made some big changes to really anchor him in that world in a truth that publishing never really landed on, I would argue, in a big way.”
