Nawaz hails operation against TTP in Afghanistan

He said this while talking to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on phone, who called him to inquire about his health.

Afghan president also confirmed that Umar Naray, the mastermind of the gruesome attack on Army Public School (APS), had been killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan.

He said the dismal incident of APS was a big loss to the world and Pakistan.

Nawaz said Pakistan was fighting against terrorism and was fully committed to eliminate the last terrorist on its soil.

He said terrorism was a common threat for both countries and must be dealt with concerted efforts and better coordination.
