LAHORE: PML-N leaders have reiterated that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would turn himself to jail authorities on the evening of May 7 after his bail term expires, ARY News reported.
Talking to journalists here on Saturday evening, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that Nawaz Sharif was being punished for no reason despite the fact he had “served the nation”.
He said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif would return from London within 10 days, whereas Nawaz Sharif would present himself to jail authorities on May 7th.
Criticising the government for what he called financial mismanagement, he said that inflation had increased three-folds in last eight months, referring to the time elapsed since PTI swore into power.

“The government has made it difficult for a commoner to live while an IMF employee has been inducted into the cabinet”, he remarked.
Former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal said that elder Sharif’s daughter Maryam had played an ‘active role’ in PML-N, and the party welcomed her formal induction in the party cadres.
“Our reorganising was a bit delayed, but we have the right vision for Pakistan’s development”, he claimed.
“The reorganising is now complete and Shehbaz Sharif is the opening batsman of Nawaz Sharif’s team”, he said.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif was the president of PML-N, and both the Sharif brothers had ‘one narrative’.
