ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a meeting of National Security Committee of the Federal Cabinet here on Tuesday, ARY News reports.
The draft of the new Security policy, devised by the Interior Ministry, will be discussed in the meeting today. The strategies for possbile dialogue with Taliban alongwith internal and external security situation will also be discussed.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mehmood, Heads of three armed forces, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Zaheer-ul-Islam, DG Intelligence Bureau (IB) Aftab Sultan and PM’s advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz will be present in the meeting.
