WATCH: Neha Kakkar cries on stage as fans boo her for arriving late

Indian singer Neha Kakkar recently found herself in the midst of a controversy after arriving three hours late for her concert in Melbourne, Australia.

The delay led to frustrated fans booing her, with some even demanding she leave. However, Neha Kakkar, visibly upset, took to the stage to apologise to the audience, crying as she expressed her regret for the delay.

Despite her heartfelt apology, many fans were still disappointed with the way the situation unfolded, while others defended the singer, claiming that she was unfairly criticised.

Neha Kakkar, known for her hits like “Kaala Chashma” and “Manali Trance”, arrived at the stage around 10 PM, much later than the scheduled 7:30 PM start time.

As she stood before the crowd in Australia, some people could be heard shouting harsh comments, including “Go back!” and “This isn’t India!” The singer, clearly distressed, addressed the audience, saying how sorry she was for making them wait, and promised to make it up to them with a great performance.

“I hate it when I make people wait. You’ve been so patient, and I am really sorry,” Neha Kakkar said, wiping away tears. “You mean everything to me. I’ll never forget this night, and I’ll make sure you all have a good time.”

However, despite her emotional apology, some fans were still upset. One person even posted a photo of Neha Kakkar on stage, criticising her for crying and calling the concert a “waste of time and money.” Others questioned her sincerity, accusing her of “acting” and not living up to expectations.

While some fans defended Neha Kakkar, expressing understanding and support for the singer, the concert left a bitter taste for many, with some claiming that the experience was not worth the wait.

Regardless, Neha Kakkar’s emotional apology and promise to deliver a better show resonated with her loyal supporters, and the controversy continued to stir debates online.
