'Neki Tree': Surf Excel's unprecedented initiative to spread goodness

Like every Ramazan, Surf Excel again initiated a series of videos laden with the messages of moral goodness that we get to watch daily under the banner of ‘Aaj Ki Neki’.  This time Surf Excel is just not sticking to those meaningful videos, but taking a step further to physically engage people in an on-ground activity called ‘Neki Tree’ at Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi.

In its ‘Neki Tree’ activity, Surf Excel has come up with very innovative and appealing idea of placing a barren tree in the middle of Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi. Yes, you read it right ‘a barren tree!’

Why barren? You may ask.

A barren tree asks for water and care to grow. But this tree is going to grow with people pledging to do good for others. If you have done a Neki or intend on doing a Neki, hang it on the tree and help it grow.

Surf Excel believes that this tree will be a symbol of hope as people will help it grow from a barren state to a fully blossomed beautiful tree. The bigger meaning of this is that we all, as a nation, can come together and with our intentions of doing good for people around us can craft a very beautiful future for the country. It doesn’t take one person with one pledge towards doing good, it takes a nation.
