Netflix adds feature all users were waiting for

Multinational entertainment company Netflix has added a feature which all its users were waiting for – the ability to download shows and films and watch them offline.

The company announced that this would make it even easier to watch Netflix on the go, as members around the world can now download as well as stream series and films at no extra cost.

It had previously said letting people download shows added too much “complexity” to its experience. However, many members wanted to continue to watch while in other places or with limited internet access.

The feature is available on Android and iOS devices, and includes many series and movies and more are will be available soon to make sure there is plenty of content with you are offline.

This includes Netflix original content such as Orange is The New Black, Narcos and the recently released The Crown. To start downloading, you need to update you Netflix app and continue while on the go.
