Nisar, Ebad assure CJ SHC of his son's safe recovery

The interior minister and governor Sindh called on the CJ SHC in Karachi and discussed the details of the kidnapping of his son Owais Shah.

Chaudhary Nisar assured the chief justice that his son will be recovered very soon safely.

He further said that law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies were playing their role to combat the menace of terrorism, extortion and target killings.

He said it was the responsibility of the state to protect the life and property of every citizen.

Nisar, Ebad visit Sabri’s house

Nisar and Ebad also visited the residence of slain qawwal Amjad Sabri in Karachi to pay condolences to the bereaved family.

Nisar said that murder of Amjad Sabri was a dismal incident. He said investigation of the incident was progressing well and the culprits of the heinous crime would be brought to justice at the earliest.

They also offered Fateha for the departed soul.

The interior minister and governor Sindh also held a separate meeting in which they discussed the overall law and order situation in the province, the on-going operation in the metropolis and other relevant issues.

The governor Sindh briefed the interior minister regarding the operation against terrorists, target killers, kidnapping for ransom and extortion.

They resolved that the operation would continue till the elimination of last terrorist and that it would be taken to the logical conclusion.

They said an improved law and order situation in Karachi, an economic hub of country is essential for the economic progress and prosperity of the country.
