Indian actor Nitesh Pandey, known best for his role in the TV serial ‘Anupama’, was found dead in a hotel in Nashik, India.
As per the reports from Indian news agencies, ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor Nitesh Pandey died of a suspected heart attack in a hotel in the Igatpuri area of Nashik, on Wednesday morning. He was 51 at the time of death.

Reportedly, the late actor was there for a shoot when his health deteriorated at midnight, and he died almost immediately after the heart attack.

Confirming the unfortunate news to the press, his brother-in-law and film producer Siddharth Nagar said, “Yes, you have heard it right. My brother-in-law is no more, my sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock.”

“Nitesh’s father has left for Igatpuri to get his mortal remains. They should be here by the afternoon. We have gone absolutely numb, I have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy. I am headed to Igatpuri as well, I am on the train right now. I was coming back from Delhi when I heard about this,” he added.

“Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don’t think he had a history of any heart ailment,” Nagar clarified.

An investigation is underway at the hotel by the police officials, while his postmortem report is awaited as well.
Tributes poured in from the fraternity following the untimely demise of Pandey.
