LORALAI: Three terrorists were killed while one policeman was martyred in an attack on the Police Line in Balochistan’s Loralai on Wednesday, reported ARY News.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, security forces foiled a terrorist attack on the Loralai Police Line.
“All the three terrorists were killed as security forces responded in a timely manner,” it said, adding a head constable, identified as Allah Nawaz, was also martyred while two constables sustained bullet wounds in an exchange of fire with the assailants.
The FC and police’s quick response force reached the site in no time and cordoned the area off.
The ISPR said one bomber was shot dead at the main gate while two managed to enter the premises of the Police Line.
One suicide bomber blew himself up and the other was killed by security forces.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, condemning the terrorist attack, expressed condolence over the death of the policeman.
He said the police force fought valiantly against the terrorists, adding the quick and effective action by security force shows that they are well prepared to country any threat.
