According to Police, unknown gunmen opened discriminate fire at a shop located at Quetta’s Masjid Road due to three persons were wounded. The shooters managed to escape the crime scene after carrying out their attack.
The victims were rushed to a medical facility where one of the injured persons succumbed to his injuries.
Security forces arrived at the scene and started searching for the perpetrator.
Chief Minister of Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri took notice of the shooting incident and expressed grief.
Zehri said, “The terrorists want to invoke fear into the nation, something which they will not succeed in.”
